A mother-of-four has been found dead in the same place where her partner died exactly eight weeks before.
The body of Dee Anderson, 34, of St Benedict’s Road, Snodland, was discovered at Leybourne Lakes in Larkfield on Friday at 12.30am.
Her partner Brian Anderson, 19, had been found at Leybourne Lakes on Friday, August 22.
The couple, who had lived together for 18 months, had celebrated the birth of their daughter, Alex Clara, just four months ago.
Tributes to Dee were left alongside tributes to her partner at Leybourne Lakes this week. One said: “Dee... don’t worry about the kids, we’ll look after them.”
After an initial investigation, police said they were not treating her death as suspicious.
The coroner was due to open an inquest into her death today.
A post mortem was carried out on Wednesday.
It is understood Dee had three children, of whom Alex Clara was the youngest, and also had an adopted son.
A family friend said: “It is tragic. It’s the children you feel sorry for. Little Alex hasn’t got either of her parents now.”
Friends said Dee had struggled to come to terms with Brian’s death.
His parents Brian and Lesley, who moved to Gravesend two years ago, spoke of their sadness that their son’s cries for help had fallen on deaf ears among mental health services. Mr Anderson described his son as a kid “crying out for help”.
An inquest is yet to take place into Brian’s death.
