Woman in computer robbery ordeal

KENT Police are appealing for information after a robbery at a company in Ashford Road, Lenham, near Maidstone.

The incident happened on Thursday night at around 7pm as a female member of staff locked up the office.

As she did so, she was approached by three men who forced her back inside the building and stole a quantity of computer equipment, before making off in a white van.

The member of staff, who is in her 30s, was not injured during the incident.

The offenders are described as white men. One was 5ft 8ins tall, stocky and wearing a dark hooded jacket. Another was in his late teens to mid 20s, 5ft 10ins tall, thin, with ginger hair. Hr was wearing a dark blue zip up jacket, blue jeans and a black balaclava.

The third man was also about 5ft 10ins in height and wearing a dark zip up jacket, blue jeans with dirty knees and a balaclava.

Police believe there may have been a number of lorries parked nearby when the robbery took place and would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the incident.
