A woman has appeared in court charged with the murder of 21-year-old Andrew Wilby in Canterbury.
Care worker Lara Doran, of Rosemary Lane in the city, is accused of stabbing Mr Wilby at a flat in Tennyson Avenue in June.
With a pale face and dressed in black, the 22-year-old only uttered the word "correct" when asked to confirm her name and address.
Afterwards, she looked down and shut her eyes during the rest of the five-minute hearing before Canterbury Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Her solicitor did not make an application for bail and she was remanded in custody until August 17 when she is due to appear at Maidstone Crown Court for a preliminary hearing.
