A LORRY was in collision with a car on the coast-bound carriageway of the M20 near West Malling this afternoon.

Fire crews from Larkfield and Dartford were called to the motorway between junction three, at Addington, and junction four at Lunsford, shortly after 3pm.

A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said that a female adult had to be released from the wreckage of her car. The extent of her injuries is not known. Crews left the scene at 4pm.
