The body of a woman has been discovered in a lake in Kent.

It is the second time in two months a body has been found in Leybourne Lakes at Larkfield, near Maidstone.

Police were called to the scene shortly after 12.30am Friday.

The coroner’s office has been notified and her next of kin have been informed.

No further details of the deceased are being released at this time - but police say the death is not being treated as suspicious.

On August 22, 19-year-old father Brian Anderson, of Benedict Road, Snodland, drowned after struggling with depression.
