Women cut free from High Halden crash wreckage

Two young women had to be cut free from their car after a road crash at High Halden.

The two-car accident happened at the Harbourne Lane area of High Halden, at 7.30pm Monday.

Firefighters freed the two victims, who were from the same vehicle, by cutting away the roof.

Paramedics and police were also at the scene and the casualties were eased out of the car onto spinal boards.

The women were taken to hospital with suspected neck and back injuries.

Two fire engines were at the incident, one from the Ashford station and the other from Tenterden.
