Wooden bats threat in store raid

KENT Police are hunting three men wearing balaclavas and carrying wooden bats who burst into a store and robbed staff.

The raiders threatened members of staff and forced them to open the tills at the Post Office and Co-op in London Road, Greenhithe, near Dartford.

One of the men also stole cash after forcing his way into the post office.

The trio escaped with an undisclosed sum of money and got into a red K registered estate car. They drove off down Stone Place Road.

The robbery happened on Thursday, January 11, between 4.30pm and 5.00pm.
