Train operator Southern put a work experience student in charge of its Twitter feed today - with inevitable results.
The student, identified only as 15-year-old Eddie, announced their arrival by saying they would be glad to answer passengers' questions.
They then found themselves fending off a flood of questions ranging from the obscene to the ridiculous.
The #askEddie hashtag soon began trending, but people were full of praise for how Eddie responded - and they have even been offered more work experience by other train operators.
