YOUNGSTERS left a trail of blood leading away from a village hall after they broke in through a skylight and fell through the roof.
The incident is just one in a spate which Larkfield Parish Council blames on bored and drunken teenagers.
Exactly two weeks after the break-in the hall was targeted again by yobs. They threw a glass bottle so hard against a window that the glass shattered. The bottle was smashed into pieces against the opposite wall.
"We have had a spate of damage to the village hall and vandalism generally in the area and it seems to be drink-related," said parish council chairman, Cllr David Thornewell.
"One bottle was thrown through the window with such force that it shattered across the hall, breaking the window and leaving a trail of wine across the floor.
"There has also been an incident where they have climbed on to the domed roof and damaged it. They have entered the hall via a skylight, stood on the suspended ceiling and fallen to the floor. I understand there was a trail of blood leading from the hall."
Hall users are also upset at the mindless vandalism. Albert Brown, who meets friends at regular tea dances, described the damage as "extremely upsetting".
"They have come through the ceiling, and half of the ceiling is now down," he said.
"They have smashed windows in the men's toilets and there was blood down the side of the wall. It makes me sick."
A police spokesman said that for the past fortnight patrols had been stepped up in Larkfield, although officers were targeting the area in general.
