A 20-year-old man who was killed in a car accident has been identified as Dominic Neff.

Mr Neff, of Edwin Road, Rainham, died on Thursday, Nov­­ember 3, when a car in which he was a passenger crashed in Maidstone Road, Rainham.

Dozens of floral tributes have been placed near the spot where the crash happened. The car ploughed through three gardens before hitting a car parked in a driveway.

A female passenger was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with a fractured pelvis. The car driver and other passengers were unhurt.

The driver of the crashed car and the driver of another car, which stopped nearby, were arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. They have since been released on police bail.

An inquest into Mr Neff’s death has been opened and adjourned. Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident to call 01622 600970.
