A 23-year-old man denied a murder charge when he appeared before a judge at Maidstone Crown Court on Monday.

Daniel Mazza, of Clifton Gardens, Margate, will now stand trial on October 1.

His alleged victim, 26-year-old David Gavin, suffered stab wounds in the street and died in his basement flat in Athelstan Road, Cliftonville, near Margate, on March 14.
