A 21-year-old woman was pushed to the ground when a man assaulted her on a Kent street at the weekend.

The attack happened at around 1.40am on Saturday in Marlborough Road, Gillingham.

The man approached the victim from behind and pushed her over before sitting on top of her. He ran away after the woman screamed several times.

She was uninjured in the attack.

The man is described as being white, around 5ft 3in tall, of stocky build, clean-shaven with short dark-brown hair.

He had a local accent and was wearing a white T-shirt and light-blue jeans.
