Kent have agreed new deals with four of their promising youngsters.
Ashley Shaw, Sam Billings, Chris Piesley and Adam Riley have all signed new contracts at the St Lawrence Ground.
Fast bowler Shaw, who underwent a successful operation on his shins at the end of last season, has signed a contract extension until the end of the 2012 season.
Kent’s team director Paul Farbrace said he was delighted Shaw had committed his future to the club.
"I believe he has an exciting future ahead of him," said Farbrace.
"I’m looking forward to him being fully fit at the start of next season as I am sure that he can continue to show the promise that he did in his outings for the club in 2010."
Former England under-19 wicketkeeper Sam Billings, a product of Kent's academy, has also agreed a two-year deal.
Fellow academy graduates, Chris Piesley and Adam Riley, have both signed one-year agreements.
Farbrace said he was pleased that the three youngsters had signed.
"This is a further sign of the hard work and commitment that our coaches put in to help young cricketers throughout the Kent pathway," he said.
