Free advice on buying and selling properties is to be offered by estate agents Your Move at the same time as raising cash for the RNLI.

Staff at the Deal office in the High Street will be holding an open day on Saturday, December 12, where a tombola with champagne and money off estate agents fees are among the prizes.

Visitors to the open day will also have the chance to meet Your Move financial consultant, Jodie South, who will be on hand to offer advice about how to find mortgages or remortgages and answer any questions visitors may have.

Jacqueline Davies, area sales director for Your Move said: “We realise that many people have an interest in the property market but are unsure about what steps to take as a seller or a buyer and that’s why the local team has decided to host this informal open day.

“Of course the open day will also provide us with a great opportunity to show our support for the local community. We’ll be offering cakes, a Christmas raffle with a range of superb prizes – including discounted selling fees –all of which will support Walmer RNLI Lifeboat.

“We will offer free, informal advice about buying and selling - while visitors enjoy complimentary refreshments – but also have the reassurance they are offering much needed support to a local charity – we can’t wait”.

The open day will be held between 10am and 4pm on Saturday at the Your Move office at 30 High Street, Deal.
