We've had a weekend of history in the county - and Kent Online has been there to capture all the action on video.

Fagin, Nancy, Scrooge and all things Dickensian came to Medway attracting thousands of visitors to the 30th Rochester Dickens Festival.

Meanwhile, civil war broke out in the county town on the same day. The streets were lined with spectators as a full scale re-enactment of the 1648 Battle of Maidstone hit the town.

And finally there were thrills, spills, fights and falls at the annual jousting tournament at Leeds Castle.

The breathtaking backdrop of the moated castle was the scene as knights on horseback and men at arms went at each other with big sticks. See the action >>>
