A BOY of 16 was taken to hospital after an early morning fight at a Medway night club. The victim, from Rochester, was on the dance floor at Amadeus, on the Medway Valley Park at Strood, when he was approached by another boy in his late teens.

A fight then broke out and the next thing the victim remembers is waking up in the first aid room of the night club. He was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital.

The extent of his injuries is not known. Medway Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward in connection with the assault, which took place between 1am and 1.30am on Saturday, April 17.
