A teenage boy is in intensive care after a fight in a Kent park.

The 13-year old was initially taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with serious head injuries after the incident at Parkwood Green, Rainham.

He is understood to have been unconscious on arrival.

He was later transferred to a London hospital, where he remains today on in a critical condition.

Police were called to the scene at 1.30pm Wednesday. The area was taped off for several hours.

Two boys, aged 13 and 14, were arrested on suspicion of GBH. One has since been released on police bail pending further enquiries.~ More details at medwaymessenger.co.uk >>>
