Vauxhall's Zafira Tourer people carrier will be the first model in the firm's line-up to feature its new generation 1.6 CDTi diesel engine, the first engine announced in a new family of state-of-the-art, four cylinder diesel units.
With its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show next month, this new engine is Vauxhall's cleanest diesel unit to date, and technology that meets strict Euro 6 emissions regulations.
The 1.6 CDTi unit delivers 136 horsepower while also offering posting an offical fuel consumption rating of 68.9mpgon the combined and emissions of 109g/km CO2.
Further expanding the Zafira Tourer's broad powertrain offer, the range now comprises five diesels, including a new high performance 2.0 BiTurbo CDTi engine with 195 horsepower, and two petrol engines.
