A goal 11 minutes from time denied Charlton maximum points on Tuesday night at Bolton.
Frederic Bulot netted early on for the Addicks but Adam Le Fondre’s late strike made it 1-1.
It was the third game running that Charlton have ended the match with the same scoreline - their 18th draw of the season.
The hosts made a positive start to the game but it was Charlton who went ahead as Bulot volleyed home following Chris Solly’s ball into the box.
Charlton threatened to stretch the lead in the second half but keeper Adam Bogdan denied Bulot, Berg Gudmundsson and Tony Watt.
Hopes of victory were extinguished when Le Fondre got the better of keeper Stephen Henderson to level the scores.
