Charlton Athletic v Bolton Wanderers

A VICTORY for Charlton in tonight's Carling Cup third round tie against Bolton Wanderers at The Valley tonight would equal the club's best-ever run in the competition.

Manager Iain Dowie looks set to name an unchanged side as he attempts to achieve that feat.

Although the Addicks' league form is poor, their only win of the current campaign did come in the corresponding Premiership fixture last month.

The visitors will be without suspended captain Kevin Nolan and defender Abdoulaye Faye, who suffered mild concussion in their victory over Blackburn on Sunday.
