Addicks paired with lower division opposition

CHARLTON have been handed another favourable home draw in the fith round of the FA Cup against League 1 side Brentford.

The Addicks scraped past near neigbours Leyton Orient on Saturday and they will feel they have a fantastic chance of making the last eight against Martin Allen's side.

It is the third time Alan Curbishley's team have been drawn at home in this season's competition, having dispatched Championship outfit Sheffield Wednesday in the third round.

Brentford, though, have already claimed a Premiership scalp with their impressive 2-1 win over Sunderland at the weekend and will make the short trip to The Valley with no fear.

The tie will be played on the weekend of February 18.
