Portsmouth v Charlton Athletic
CHARLTON travel to Portsmouth on Saturday looking to make amends after last season's 4-2 defeat at Fratton Park.
Manager Alan Curbishley warned: "If we turn up at Portsmouth on Saturday in the same frame of mind that we did last season then we’ll get a thumping because we weren’t at it.
"After our performance against Fulham on Monday I’ve got plenty to think about."
Curbishley confirmed that both Darren Ambrose and Matt Holland are fit and ready to go into the side when needed. He also admitted that goalkeeper Dean Kiely was disappointed not to be in the side having recovered from a broken finger.
He said: "I told Dean that I was keeping Stefan in the side because I wanted to see what I’ve got, which isn’t a slight on Dean or Thomas Myhre. Obviously, he’s unhappy at not playing."
