CHARLTON have made Gonzalo Sorondo's loan deal at The Valley a permanent one.
The 26-year-old Uruguay defender spent last season on loan at the club from Inter Milan, but he is a free agent after his deal at the San Siro expires this summer.
Sorondo only made eight appearances in his first season with the Addicks, but his availability was restricted by injuries and suspension.
He becomes Charlton's second signing of the close season after the capture of USA international Corey Gibbs.
