Charlton v Wolves
Striker Andy Gray is doubtful for Charlton’s vital home game against fellow play-off contenders Wolves tomorrow with a facial injury.
Gray, still without a goal following his £2 million move from Burnley in January, sustained a broken nose in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with West Bromwich Albion.
"He has a broken nose and his face is very sore," said manager Alan Pardew. "His eye has been shut for most of the week, though there has been no fracture of the cheekbone.
"We have a mask he could play in but I need players who are fully fit for such an important game."
Midfielder Zheng Zhi is expected to return in time from international duty with China as is central defender Madjid Bougherra who played half a game in midweek for Algeria.
"Wolves need to win as much as us," Pardew added. "It’s that time of year because there are not many games left.
"I think that will make the game loose in so much that Wolves will want to come here and win. It will be similar to the one against West Bromwich Albion which was pretty open.
"Wolves are a good side with a good manager and it will be tough. A win for us would be a massive lift, which is what we need."
Supporters are reminded that the match, which is being televised live, kicks off at 5.20pm.
