Charlton's Mark Kinsella will turn out to raise funds for Dereck Brown

Charlton will provide the opposition for Welling United veterans this Thursday in a benefit match for Dereck Brown.

A Charlton Former Players side, including Mark Kinsella, Gary Nelson and Colin Walsh, will play Welling veterans, kick-off 7.45pm.

Brown, who played 112 times for Welling during their Conference years, suffered a broken leg when the two teams met in the initial fixture in October last year and has yet to return to work.

All proceeds from the evening will go to Brown and his family.

Welling's squad will include Terry Skiverton, Gary Abbott and Tony Reynolds.

Admission is £7 adults, £4 concessions and £1 for children when accompanied by an adult. Kick-off is 7.45pm.
