Charlton v QPR

LLOYD SAM returns to contention for Charlton at home to QPR on Saturday after a three-match ban following his dismissal for violent conduct in the win at Hull on October 2.

The midfielder is set to win an instant recall as manager Alan Pardew seeks to end a run of consecutive defeats against Wolves and Plymouth.

Pardew looks certain to move into the loan market for a left-back after Ben Thatcher was ruled out for three months following surgery on a knee injury sustained on August 25 and Chris Powell’s knee injury in the defeat at Wolves.
