Gillingham manager Martin Allen was delighted to see two of his strikers get off the mark on Saturday.
Goals from Danny Kedwell and Cody McDonald helped the Gills to a 2-2 draw at Swindon, but it wasn’t just the goals that pleased the Gills boss.
He said: “Danny Kedwell does a lot for our team and it’s not just about goals, it’s about how they play as a team and how they defend as a team and defend set plays.
“I thought (Adebayo) Akinfenwa, in the first half, was outstanding. He was unplayable.
“I knew Cody was coming on, I told him on Friday. When he went through there was no doubt he was going to score.
“He has been fantastic in training and is working his way back and of course the German (Antonio German) came on and did well.
“All of our players can score, they will all score. We are a team, a squad, a family and we are enjoying every day and every moment of being in this division.”
