Darren Byfield proved to be the architect of the comeback as he set up Agyemang with two perfectly weighted balls to Agyemang in the 65th and 77th minute.

Gillingham: Banks, Hills, Smith, Cox, Southall, Agyemang, Hope, Roberts (Crofts), Byfield (Sidebe), Spiller, Perpetuini. Subs not used: Brown (gk), L Johnson, Rose.
