Defender Sam Muggleton has joined Barnet just days after being released from Gillingham.
The long-throw specialist links up with former Gills boss Martin Allen at the Conference Premier side.
Former Leicester City youngster Muggleton, 18, made two senior appearances for the Gills during Allen’s reign.
Muggleton's long throws earned him the nickname 'the weapon'.
His one appearance during last season was as an 89th minute substitute in the 2-1 away defeat against Coventry City in September.
He spent the end of the season on loan at Barnet, joining shortly after Allen took over at the club, making six appearances.
On signing Muggleton permanently, Allen said: “For me it was a no brainer to sign Sam Muggleton.
“He is an 18-year-old on a free transfer and he still has room to develop physically and technically and he has such an amazing long throw.
“Rotherham use their long throw to good effect and they are now going to Wembley with the chance of going to the Championship, so I think it is a good signing for us.”
