Gillingham have returned defender Adam Bygrave to Premiership side Reading.

The 19-year-old made 15 appearances for the side at centre-back but in recent weeks has been surplus to requirements at Gillingham.

His last appearance was in the middle of march when he was part of the defence that let in three goals against relegation rivals Crewe.
