PROMISE, talent and determination were all saluted at the Invicta Dynamos Juniors ice hockey presentation night at Gillingham.
The event, held at the Star Sports and Social Club in Darland Avenue, was attended by more than 150 players and supporters.
There was a hat-trick of awards for Jonathan Silvester of the under-16s, who was named players’ player-of-the-year, coach’s player-of-the-year and defender of the year.
Director of coaching Phil Chard, who assured the club that although he’s stepping down from his hands-on role, he would continue to offer support and advice, led the presentations.
It was also revealed that Dynamos players Grant Baxter, Kevin Lake and Peter Carey would be taking a leading role next season in the coaching of the club’s emerging talent.
