Charlton forging links in Spain

ALAN Curbishley will visit Spain this weekend to help officially launch an expansion of the Charlton community scheme’s work abroad.
A number of Addicks representatives will head to Pilar de la Horadada, in southern Spain, to see a series of courses being run by former goalkeeper Jeff Wood.
The scheme will see the club forge a link with Spanish Third Division side Horadada, running football courses and after-school clubs for local youngsters.
Meanwhile, a win for Arsenal Ladies against Fulham on Saturday saw the Gunners pip Charlton to the Premier League title by two points.
A draw would have given the championship to the Addicks, who finished runners-up and with a place in next season’s Charity Shield.
