Welling 1 Basingstoke 1
Welling's 100 per cent start in Blue Square South came to an end on Saturday.
The Wings failed to show the same fluency in their opening two games and were indebted to a Sonny Cobbs equaliser just before the break.
Both sides missed early openings with Joe Healy going close for the home side before Wings keeper Jamie Turner saved well from Phil Ruggles.

The woodwork denied Welling in the 18th minute when neat work by Ryan Martin set up Joe Healy and the ball came back off the post after keeper Ross Kitteridge half saved with his legs.
Welling went behind in the 37th minute, conceding for the first time this season, when they failed to clear a right-wing free kick and striker James Faulkner headed home.
The Wings were back on level terms within five minutes when Ellis Green's right-wing cross fell for Cobbs - whose deflected shot left Kitteridge flat-footed.
Both sides cancelled each other out after the break, although Green had one good opportunity for the home side but his cross-shot went across the face of goal.
Basingstoke substitute Carl Gibbs then dragged a right-foot effort wide before Tony Sinclair was on hand to deny the same player with just a minute remaining.
