THE Kent Youth Games for basketball in association with Kent Active Sports and the Kent Sports Development Unit have been confirmed for Saturday, May 7.

The all-day event will be held at the new £7m sports facility at Sevenoaks School and will feature boys and girls teams from many of Kent's 13 districts.

Kent Active Sports co-ordinator Graham Wilson said: "After the success of the 2004 Youth Games we are looking forward to building on what was a great day out for all concerned."

The event will include professional player appearances and a chance to browse at the London Towers Club Shop and play the BBL Action Zone.
