ELLIOTT Andrews stole the show as the Invicta Dynamos ended a tough weekend in style.
His Sunday hat-trick won the game against a good Slough Jets side and on Saturday a gritty fightback saw the Mos draw 3-3 at Romford.
Player coach Carl Greenhous was pleased with the way his team ground out results this weekend.
After playing his first games of the season and sporting a cut to his nose courtesy of Jason Rushton, he said: “Three points from four is a good weekend.
“We did not win pretty, but we won in what were tough, physical games. It's been a tiring weekend, especially as it's early in the season and we're still not in peak condition.
“But there's still a lot of work to do. Too many times there were sloppy breakdowns in play when players were caught out of position. It's something we need to address.
“On the plus side I thought Elliott Andrews, Duane Ward, Jake French and Matt Van Der Velden played very well in both games.”
