FINNISH forward Samuli Mykkanen has become the Invicta Dynamos first new signing and Elliot Andrews is the first squad member to re-sign for another season. Mykkanen, 22, played most of last season for the Solihull Barons before moving to British National League outfit Edinburgh Capitals.
The 6ft 2in 220lb forward accumulated 58 points in 22 games last season with 31 goals and 27 assists and Mos fans will remember him as one of Solihull’s most influential players. Solihull, the only team to beat the Mighty Mos in the league on home ice, are missing from the English National Premier League this season after merging with Milton Keynes to become the Solihull MK Kings who will play in the BNL.
It is hoped the signature of Andrews, one of the main British forwards at the club for the past five seasons, who has scored 153 goals in 204 games, will be the first of many.
Clement said: "We are in negotiations with most of last season's championship winning squad and hope to be able to keep the majority of the team together. Further announcements will be made as soon as talks are completed with players."
The Dynamos will start the defence of their ENPL title with a home game against new boys Milton Keynes Lightning on Sunday, September 1 (5.15pm face-off).
