CHRIS KINNEAR: No new injuries

MARGATE are in cup action tonight when they make the trip to Thurrock in the second round of the Nationwide Conference Cup.

Gate prepared for the clash with a frustrating defeat at Basingstoke on Saturday, their sixth away reverse of the season.

Manager Chris Kinnear was “very disappointed with the result but pleased with the performance” as Margate succumbed to a late Martin Whiddett goal.

In contrast, the Essex side warmed up with a thumping 6-1 victory against Burgess Hill in the FA Trophy at the weekend.

Kinnear has no fresh injury concerns ahead of the game.

He told KM-fm that he knows a fair amount about the opposition, following their FA Cup run earlier in the season…
