Gills coach quits Priestfield

GILLINGHAM first-team coach Bobby Paterson has resigned after becoming overwhelmed by the ever-increasing workload.
Paterson was promoted from his role with the youth set-up to the first team at the beginning of the season, but opted to quit as his family life began to suffer.
Paterson’s departure follows the news that physio Simon Webster has also quit the club.
