Gillingham 0 Yeovil Town 2
TWO goals in five second half minutes condemned Gillingham to defeat on their final game of the season.
Jean-Paul Kalala and Wayne Gray netted just after the hour to end the Gills five game unbeaten run.
The home side had numerous chances in the first half but were unable to make the most of their superiority with Danny Spiller, Michael Flynn and Nicky Southall all going close.
They were made to pay when Kalala struck on 63 minutes after picking up a loose ball on the edge of the area.
Just five minutes later Gray doubled the lead when he beat the off-side trap and tucked the ball past keeper Steve Mildenhall.
Spiller came close on a couple of occasions to pull Gillingham back into the game, but Yeovil remained firm and held onto a clean sheet.
Teenager Luis Cumbers came on to make his Gills debut with seven minutes to play.
The result meant Gillingham finish in 16th place in the League 1 table.
