MICHAEL FLYNN: "We can make it tougher for teams to score against us"

Gillingham v Carlisle

GILLINGHAM captain Michael Flynn has urged his team-mates to toughen up ahead of Saturday's match against Carlisle.

The Gills are without a win in four games and, after several disappointing results on the road, Flynn is keen to get his side’s promotion hopes back on course at Priestfield.

He said: "We’re playing well enough, we just need to toughen up a bit more and get three or four wins together.

"As a team, from the front two, the back four, the middle and the goalkeeper, we can make it tougher for teams to score against us."
