GILLINGHAM play their fourth match in 11 days at home to third-placed Wigan tonight looking to end a goal drought that has lasted for 434 minutes.

Not since the 1-0 home win over Bradford City on January 31 have Gillingham found the net, putting pressure on the strikers who have come under fire from fans.

None more so than Mali international Mamady Sidibe who who has scored just seven times in nearly 60 appearances.

Sidibe, who spent a month away on duty with Mali in the African Cup of Nations, believes the goals will flow once he has established a rapport with newcomer Patrick Agyemang.

"We need to play together a lot more to understand each other," he said. "The more games we play, the better we'll become."

Player-manager Andy Hessenthaler, who was without 10 senior players for Saturday's 1-0 defeat at Crystal Palace, could be without striker Rod Wallace tonight. He has suffered a family bereavement.

Wigan, who have won six times on the road in the League this season, include 16-goal top scorer Nathan Elligton who scored Saturday's winner in the 1-0 success against Walsall.
