Goldberg concern over injuries

Bromley's defensive talisman Jerrome Sobers could miss the opening fortnight of the new Conference South season after picking up an abdominal strain.

However, Lillywhites boss Mark Goldberg remains hopeful Sobers will be available for the opening game at home to Maidenhead on Saturday.

He said: "Jerome is a cause for concern because of his abdominal problem. He has already been out for a week and it could be another two weeks before he is back. He is important for us at the back so we've got our fingers crossed."
