Two goals: Danny Hockton

Bromley 5 Eastleigh 1

Bromley found the goal trail on Saturday as they thrashed Eastleigh 5-1 at Hayes Lane in Blue Square South.

The Lillywhites rode their luck early on as the visitors put their defence under pressure but then went ahead on 29 minutes when Mark Corneille burst through and clipped the ball over the onrushing Jason Matthews.

The advantage was doubled two minutes before the break when Matthews only half cleared and Corneille was on hand again to head in Nic McDonnell's goal-bound effort from almost on the line.

A demoralised Eastleigh netted a consolation with virtually the last kick of the game.
