PUNTERS, having been denied a number of meetings this season due to adverse weather, should make amends with racing on Easter Saturday and Easter Monday.

On Saturday, the traditional meeting takes place where the Ashford Valley hold their fixture starting at 2pm. There will be two pony races beforehand.

Struggles Glory, who is a Charing course specialist should score again in the Men’s Open, while in the Ladies Open Millenium Way should repeat his win at this course earlier this season.

Rockwood Clover looks to have a great chance in the Restricted, and Sir Henrick who ran well at Parham before being pulled up, could take the 2.5 mile Maiden Race.

The Club Members Race has Shove On Tommy entered and if he is declared will be sure to give a good account of himself, and in the Hunt Members Race, Oxendale, who seldom runs a bad race, should take the honours.

The East Kent hold their meeting at Aldington on Easter Monday starting at 2pm.

Tom Cobbler looks a good thing for the Men’s Open and in the Ladies, Dick McCarthy could follow up his recent win at Parham.
