Charlton ended their season in style after thrashing already-relegated Bristol City at The Valley.

The Addicks scored four times in the second half, in a 4-1 win, to finish the season just outside the play-off zone.

Saturday’s result extended their unbeaten run in the Championship to eight games, as they ended the season sitting in 9th place.

Yann Kermorgant scored the first of his two goals in the match, shortly after the restart.
With 51 minutes gone he had doubled his and Charlton’s tally only for City to halve the deficit on the hour.

Jonathan Obika converted a Kermorgant cross with 11 minutes remaining and the win was sealed as Johnnie Jackson netted late on.
