Gillingham 2 Chesterfield 1
GILLINGHAM manager Ronnie Jepson didn't shy away from criticising his side despite their roller-coaster Priestfield win over Chesterfield on Saturday.
He said: "I thought we started off for the first five minutes with a good tempo but we just dropped off it.
"Overall the performance wasn’t good enough, but it was a great three points and I’ll give them a bit of credit for sticking at it.
"In terms of passing and movement it was lacklustre."
Gillingham host Ryman League Premier Division leaders Bromley in the first round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
