JEPSON: "I thought the scoreline was harsh"

Bristol City 3 Gillingham 1

RONNIE JEPSON was not in a celebratory mood on Saturday after completing his first year in the job with defeat at Bristol City.

The Gills boss put the loss down to poor finishing as the clubs staged part one of a double bill at Ashton Gate.

Jepson will take his side back to Bristol when the clubs scrap it out on Sunday, December 3 for a possible money-spinning place in the FA Cup third round.

He said: "I thought the scoreline was harsh. But when you get a couple of chances like we had in the second half away from home, you’ve got to put them away."
