Seven players from across Kent moved a step closer to playing in The Open Championship this week.
They came through regional qualifying at The London Club to keep alive the dream of playing alongside the world's best golfers at Muirfield next month.
Dartford's Michael Saunders was the pick of the bunch. The amateur player shot 70 to finish alongside Spaniard Javier San Felix at the top of the London leaderboard.
One shot back were Michael Bush (Rochester & Cobham Park) and Ryan Boyns (The Ridge).
Daniel Maude (Canterbury) carded a 73, as did Nicholas Buckland (Sundridge Park), Jack Colegate and Richard Neil-Jones (both Rochester & Cobham Park).
They all go through to local final qualifying in Scotland on July 2.
Among the reserves are Max Brackley (Manston), Richard Wallis (Walmer & Kingsdown) and Thomas Sherreard (Chart Hills), after they scored 75 in regional qualifying.
