INVICTA Dynamos team manager Andy Mason believes the club can turn their championship winning campaign into a treble-winning season.

With the English Premier League championship in the bag, the Dynamos can focus on the English League Cup semi-finals against Nottingham Lions and end of season play-offs.

Mason said: “The attitude of the players now is that they want to win everything this season. It is not going to be easy, but we have proved against everybody that we are good enough to do it.”

The Dynamos face Nottingham over two legs early next month. The first leg is at the Ice Bowl on Sunday, March 3, on a day which also sees the Dynamos presented with the league trophy. The second leg will be in Nottingham two weeks later.

“Nottingham are not the team they were before Christmas and have had some good results recently,” said Mason. “It will be a difficult game for us, but we are confident.”

The Dynamos bring down the curtain on their league season with a trip to Romford on Sunday and Mason says the players will be keen to finish on a high. “We always want to beat Romford because of the local rivalry,” he said. “It will also give us a psychological advantage over them going into the play-offs if we have played them eight times and they haven't won any of the games.”

Meanwhile, the Dynamos have announced that Kelly Printed Cartons have taken up their option to be the club’s main sponsors for a second year. Dynamos director Jackie Mason said: “We are very grateful for the support we have received.”

The club have also confirmed they do not intend to step up to the British National League next season. They might reconsider if a rumoured restructuring of the league takes place, but only if the switch does not put the club’s long-term financial stability in jeopardy.
