Ebbsfleet midfielder Stacy Long says the time for crowing over winning the FA Trophy has long passed.

The Fleet's playmaker confesses a nagging doubt that coming down off cloud nine might take longer than some expect.

"Since day one of pre-season training I can say in all honesty that nobody had mentioned Wembley," said Long. "Certainly not the manager because the mood is that was yesterday and today is what matters.

"We know we cannot live off winning the FA Trophy but if results go against us early on then people will point to Wembley and accuse us of resting on our laurels. It’s something in the back of my mind."
